Patches für RPG_RT.exe sind ein seit den frühsten Tagen des RPG Maker 2000 auftretendes Medium, mit dem der Funktionsumfang der Engine speziellen Bedürfnissen angepasst wird oder manchmal auch Bugs gefixt werden. Veröffentlicht wurden und werden Patches je nach Fall als IPS-Patch, HPA-Patch, Patching-Tool oder bereits modifizierte Anwendung.
Die nachfolgende Tabelle katalogisiert die Verfügbarkeit, bzw. Kompatibilität einer Vielzahl an Patches in Verbindung mit verschiedenen RPG_RT-Builds. Die jeweilige Urheberschaft beschränkt sich in der Tabelle auf jeweils die erste Person, die den Patch ursprünglich erstellt hat.
